HAYNES ALLOY No. 214 is a nickel-base alloy with excellent oxidation resistance to 2200 F (1205 C), attributable to the tenacious and protective A1203-type film which is modified by a small but effective amount of yttrium. The alloy is also useful in carburizing service and in resisting chlorine contaminated atmospheres. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-336. Producer or source: Cabot Corporation.
