Abstract

CARPENTER NIMARK 250 is a vacuum-melted, low-carbon nickel-cobalt-molybdenum maraging steel in which yield strengths in excess of 240,000 psi can be developed by a simple aging treatment following a solution anneal. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-417. Producer or source: Carpenter.
