Nickel Welding Electrode 141 is used for shielded-metal-arc welding of Nickel 200 and Nickel 201, welding the clad side of nickel-clad steel and surfacing of steel. This electrode also is used for dissimilar welding, including joints between Nickel 200 and 201 and various iron-base and nickel-base alloys. The weld metal deposited from Nickel Welding Electrode 141 has good resistance to corrosion, especially in alkalies. The electrode can be operated in all positions. This datasheet provides information on composition and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-316. Producer or source: Huntington Alloys.
