AISI 1010 is a low-carbon steel having good formability and weldability. It is recommended for sheet stock for deep-drawing operations and in sheet and stock for structural shapes and carburized parts. Among its many applications are bushings, clutch discs, flanges, thrust washers, tinplate, nails, rivets, automobile bodies and fenders, pans and transmission covers. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
