Abstract
ALUMINUM 213.0 is an aluminum-base alloy that is used for permanent-mold castings. It is characterized by good castability, excellent machinability, moderate strength and fair weldability. Among its uses are pressure-tight castings and automotive cylinder heads. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-255. Producer or source: Various aluminum companies.
