Abstract
Copper Alloy No. C61800 is an aluminum bronze containing nominally 89% copper, 10% aluminum and 1% iron. It has moderate strength, moderate ductility and can be hot worked or cold worked successfully. It has good resistance to corrosion in many environments. Its numerous uses include bushings, bearings, corrosion-resistant components and welding rod. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-492. Producer or source: Copper and copper alloy mills.
