ATMODIE 4 is an air-hardening steel containing high percentages of carbon and chromium. It possesses exceptional wear resistance which makes it ideally suited to long-run production requirements. Its strength is very high and its toughness is good when properly heat treated. Its wide range of applications includes can dies, coining dies, extrusion dies, slitters, roofing knives, burnishing tools and punches.
