STRESSPROOF is a medium carbon-manganese resulfurized free-machining steel. It is a heavy-drafted, cold drawn, straightened and stress relieved bar steel with high strength, improved fatigue resistance, and excellent machinability. It does not require heat treatment after fabrication. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue.
