Copper Alloy No. C92700 is a cast copper-base alloy; it formerly was known as 88-10-2-0 alloy. It is characterized by a good combination of machinability, strength and resistance to corrosion. Among its many uses are bearings, pump impellers, piston rings and valve parts that are subject to liquid and or gas pressure and, therefore, must be sound (free from defects). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-477. Producer or source: Copper alloy foundries.
