Abstract
ALUMINUM 213.0 is a permanent-mold casting alloy that has good castability, moderate strength and excellent machinability. It also has good pressure tightness. Its applications include automotive cylinder heads and timing gears. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-246. Producer or source: Various aluminum companies. See also Alloy Digest Al-255, March 1985.
