HUNTINGTON alloy G is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, copper and columbium. The alloy's composition provides an exceptionally useful combination of corrosion-resistance attributes. It is particularly suitable for handling reducing acids such as phosphoric and sulfuric acids. It is used for flue-gas scrubbers. In various acidic and alkaline environments, alloy G is used for its high level of resistance to pitting and stress-corrosion cracking. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-295. Producer or source: Huntington Alloys Inc..
