MUELLER ALLOY 2740 is a medium-strength copper-zinc (brass) alloy with good ductility and toughness. It has excellent cold-working characteristics and good resistance to corrosion. It can be cold worked by conventional processes and procedures. Mueller Alloy 2740 finds its chief use in plumbing brass goods and trap tube.
