Abstract
ANACONDA Alloy 182 is a copper-base alloy containing nominally 0.85% chromium. It offers relatively high electrical conductivity, good strength and hardness and some resistance to softening at elevated temperatures. Among its uses are resistance welding electrodes, switchgear, and electrical and electronic components. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-438. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.
