AMBRONZE 430 is a copper-zinc-tin alloy with excellent to good corrosion resistance in most environments. It has good mechanical properties and can be cold worked readily by conventional processes. Its many applications include springs, weather strip, sash chains and platers' bars and cores. AMBRONZE 430 is one of the least expensive of the fine spring alloys. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Cu-431. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.
