Copper Alloy No. C94400 is a cast bronze containing nominally 8% tin, 11% lead and 0.35% phosphorus. It has excellent machinability, good casting characteristics, low strength and good resistance to corrosion. It is used for such applications as bearings, bushings and corrosion-resistant castings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-448. Producer or source: Copper alloy foundries.
