CARPENTER STAINLESS TYPE 303Se is a free-machining modification of the 18% chromium-8% nickel stainless steel. Type 303Se is used for all types of screw-machine products. This alloy is frequently used for machined parts which will be subjected to some cold forming in assembly operations. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep.
