Elektron RZ5 is a variant of Elektron Z5Z with slightly lower tensile properties but better casting characteristics and is used for structural purposes at normal temperatures. It is recommended for difficult spidery castings. It is weldable by the argonarc process. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive strength as well as fatigue.
