Abstract
K-42-B is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-iron alloy having high resistance to heat and corrosion. It responds to a precipitation-hardening heat treatment producing high tensile and creep characteristics at elevated temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-13. Producer or source: Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
