MUELLER Alloy 3470 (formerly MBCo. Alloy 312) is a wrought medium-leaded brass alloy intended for screw-machine applications where excellent thread-rolling, knurling and cold-forming properties are required. It is characterized by an excellent combination of free-machining and cold-working properties. Typical applications include valve stems, threaded connectors and flare fittings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
