ALUMINUM 6070 is a high-strength, heat-treatable extrusion alloy. It was developed for structural applications. It has high resistance to general corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking. Its many applications include marine hardware, electric-transmission towers and bridges. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue.
