Abstract

NIMAG 130 is a commercially pure grade of nickel for use in active cathodes. Its composition is controlled closely by vacuum melting so that it may be used in a number of special applications in electron-tube manufacture. The titanium content of Nimag 130 is kept at a low level (nominally 0.003%). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-261. Producer or source: Spang Industries Inc..
