Abstract

ANACONDA Alloy (A) 510 is the most widely used of the phosphor bronzes, and is noteworthy among the copper alloys for its resilience and fatigue strength. It is well adapted to all forms of cold work, is rugged and durable in severe service and provides an excellent bearing surface that limits friction and resists wear. Among its many applications are chemical hardware, bearings and springs. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-377. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.
