Abstract

CUNIP is a copper-nickel-phosphorus age-hardenable alloy which combines high strength with good electrical and thermal conductivities. It may be cold worked either before or after age hardening. Its many uses include electron-tube components, fuse springs and electrical connectors. This datasheet provides information on composition and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-376. Producer or source: Handy & Harman.
