INDALLOY No. 4 is the metallic element indium. It is a very versatile, malleable and soft metal; it is softer even than lead. Indium remains malleable at temperatures approaching absolute zero; therefore, it is an excellent for a variety of applications including gaskets and seals. It is a useful element to alloy with other metals in the preparation of solders and fusible alloys. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, and elasticity.
