ASARCOLO 117 and 281 are eutectic alloys that are easily melted. Each number indicates a eutectic with a single melting point; thus ASARCOLO 117 has a melting point of 117 F and ASARCOLO 281 melts at 281 F. These alloys have a wide range of uses in aiding foundry practice and for soldering and sealing at low temperatures.
