STROLOY 787 is an age-hardenable, high-strength, low-alloy steel with excellent low-temperature toughness and weldability. It is suitable for mechanical or pressure tubing applications in most of the tube sizes produced by the manufacturer. It is an excellent choice for fabrication of structural components or for use in pressure tubing subjected to a low-temperature environment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fracture toughness.
