Abstract
AMPCO 483 is a copper-base alloy that can be used in the cast or wrought form. It provides high strength, high hardness, excellent resistance to corrosion and good resistance to fatigue and wear. It is well suited for service at temperatures up to 750 F and for applications such as pickling equipment, nuts and marine hardware. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-352. Producer or source: Ampco Metal Inc..
