Abstract

DYNA-LOY 41L49 is a cold-drawn alloy steel recommended for those applications that require a hardness range of Rockwell C 43 to 56 and excellent machinability. Its chemical composition permits maximum machinability and good surface finish for the tensile strength range 175,000 to 300,000 psi. Its many uses include shafts, pipe reamers and special bolts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SA-342. Producer or source: Western Cold Drawn Steel, A Division of Stanadyne.
