Abstract
Nickel 220 is widely used as a base material for cathodes in electronic receiving tubes. Its composition is controlled closely because this is necessary for all alloys produced especially for use in cathodes. Nickel 220 is effective where fairly easy activation is required without liberating excessive amounts of barium. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-254.
