Abstract

INCOLOY Alloy 800H is a wrought austenitic alloy characterized by excellent strength and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. It has higher design strengths than the conventional stainless steels above 1100 F. It is heat treated for optimum creep and stress-to-rupture properties. It is approved for HTGR (High-Temperature Gas-Cooled Reactor) nuclear reactors and is recommended for many other high-temperature applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and elasticity as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-347. Producer or source: Huntington Alloy Products Division, An INCO Company.
