DRIVER 60 ALLOY is a copper-nickel alloy for use where fairly low electrical resistance is required. The number designation corresponds to its specific resistivity (60 ohms/cir mil/ft) which is combined with a fairly high temperature coefficient of resistance. Its maximum recommended operating temperature is 600 F (316 C). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-339. Producer or source: Wilbur B. Driver Company.
