BELMONT ALLOY 1918 is a general-purpose aluminum casting alloy that can be sand cast and permanent-mold cast. It is used widely for bearings and is particularly suited for heavy-duty bearings such as those used for diesel engine crankshafts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fatigue.
