AISI 5147 is a low-chromium (nominally 1% chromium), intermediate-hardenability alloy steel for medium-duty applications. It is normally hardened by quenching in oil. It has a wide range of applications for transportation equipment, farm implements, tools and industrial machinery. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
