Abstract
Copper Alloy No. 976 is a cast leaded nickel bronze containing 20% nickel; it is known as Nickel Silver (20% Nickel) and its trade name is Dairy Bronze. It has a pleasing silvery color and high resistance to corrosion by milk and many other materials. Among its many uses are furniture and ship trimmings, valves and hardware. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-331. Producer or source: Copper alloy foundries.
