CROMO-V is a 5% chromium hot-work steel with an excellent combination of red-hardness, shock resistance and abrasion resistance; these are the properties needed for good hot-work characteristics. It will withstand drastic cooling from maximum operating temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition and hardness as well as fracture toughness.
