COLMONOY No. 23A and No. 24 comprise two grades of one nickel-base alloy. The two grades arise from differences in the physical characteristics of the two alloy powders which are applied with Colmonoy's FUSEWELD process. No. 23A is superior for repairing surface flaws of cast-iron components and No. 24 is superior for building-up edges or corners of cast-iron components, such as used in the glass industry. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and hardness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating and machining. Filing Code: Ni-239. Producer or source: Wall Colmonoy Corporation.
