Copper Alloy No. 962 is a cast copper-nickel alloy to which about 1.4% iron has been added to increase its resistance to corrosion by salt water. It is recommended where superior mechanical properties, weldability and corrosion resistance are needed. It is widely used for such parts as valves and pump bodies that must resist corrosion by seawater. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-319. Producer or source: Copper alloy foundries.
