Abstract

Ni-Cr 60-16 Alloy is an electrical-resistance alloy suitable for operation at temperatures up to 1700 F (927 C). It is ideal for heavy-duty controls and rheostats because it withstands high overloads. It is used in many domestic appliances and is very useful where space is a factor because of its high strength in small sizes and its high electrical resistance. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-232. Producer or source: Electrical resistance alloy producers.
