Copper Alloy No. 836 is a free-cutting copper-tin-lead-zinc alloy for castings. It offers good casting characteristics, moderate strength and ductility, good machinability and good resistance to corrosion. It is used widely for such applications as valves, gears and general hardware. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
