Abstract
UNITEMP 1420WM is a hardenable 12% chromium stainless steel containing nickel, molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium additions to attain high strength up to 1200 F. Its good creep-rupture properties and resistance to stress-corrosion cracking make this steel well suited for jet engines and many other high-temperature applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-329. Producer or source: Cyclops.
