Abstract
Copper Alloy No. 642 is a copper-aluminum-silicon alloy possessing high strength, good hot-working characteristics and good machinability. It has excellent resistance to corrosion in many environments. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-309. Producer or source: Copper and copper alloy mills.
