AMSIL is a high-conductivity, oxygen-free, silver-bearing copper. AMSIL copper is produced by adding silver to oxygen-free copper. After cold work, it has good creep strength at elevated temperatures and a high softening temperature. Applications include rotor and stator windings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-308. Producer or source: Amax Copper Inc..
