NITRONIC 33 is characterized by (1) High yield strength, (2) Good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, (3) Low magnetic permeability even after severe cold working, (4) Excellent strength and ductility at cryogenic temperatures, and (5) Good resistance to wear and galling; in fact, in these specific areas NITRONIC 33 is superior to AISI Type 304 stainless steel. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
