ATLANTIC 31 alloy is a cast high-strength manganese bronze with good resistance to corrision and good wear resistance under heavy or shock loads. Its anti-galling characteristics make it an excellent slow-speed, heavy load-bearing material for service against steel. Its applications include valve stems, gears, shafts and marine hardware. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue.
