Abstract
ALUMINUM A332.0 is an aluminum-silicon-nickel-copper-magnesuim alloy recommended for high-strength permanent-mold castings. The as-cast material can be aged to increase hardness and strength, or it can be solution treated and aged. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-216. Producer or source: Various aluminum companies.
