ALLEGHENY LUDLUM HTB-2 is a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel of the type commonly referred to as M-50. It is vacuum melted to meet cleanliness and rolling-contact-fatigue requirements of critical bearing applications for operating at elevated temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
