Abstract

PYROMET 901 is a nickel-chromium super alloy designed for high strength and corrosion resistance in the temperature range of 1000-1400 F. Compounds of Ni3 (Al, Ti) type produce the precipitation hardening. It is used in a variety of high-temperature applications such as components in aircraft and gas turbines. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-216. Producer or source: Carpenter Technology Corporation.
