Abstract
UTICA is a tungsten-carbon cold-work tool steel designed for many types of cutting tools where higher alloy, high-speed steels are not required. It is fairly deep hardening, holds a keen cutting edge and has excellent resistance to abrasion. Utica is used for many kinds of blanking and cold-forming punches. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, and machining. Filing Code: TS-285. Producer or source: Allegheny Ludlum Corporation.
