SUPER STAR is a super high-speed steel capable of being treated to high hardness levels. Its combination of composition and properties facilitates the machining of high-hardness materials and difficult-to-machine superalloys. Excellent hot hardness and wear resistance are obtained in Super Star without loss of edge toughness. This datasheet provides information on composition and hardness as well as deformation.
