TECHALLOY 294 is a copper-nickel alloy with constant electrical resistance over a wide range of temperatures. It is used widely in rheostats and controls where the maximum operating temperature does not exceed 1000 F. Its low temperature coefficient of electrical resistance and its stability make it highly useful in sizes for instruments and resistors. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-301. Producer or source: Techalloy Company Inc..
